Initial Visit
The first time you visit our office, you will be greeted by a member of our friendly front desk staff, who will guide you through our check-in process and will notify the doctors of your arrival. You will be given a tour of our office, including the sterilization area, treatment areas, in-house laboratory, private consultation rooms, and tooth-brushing areas. We will begin by asking you about your orthodontic concerns and goals, and then Dr. Kristal or Dr. Forche will perform a thorough orthodontic examination. Afterwards, you will be given a diagnosis and your treatment options will be discussed. All of your questions will be answered with knowledge and expertise.
At the conclusion of your examination, Dr. Kristal or Dr. Forche will discuss his recommendations for your treatment. Factors such as treatment duration and the best time to start treatment will be reviewed. We believe in starting treatment at the optimal time, according to each patient's individual needs.
While some patients are ready for braces right away, others are not, and may be placed on a recall schedule so that they may be monitored until it is the correct time to start orthodontic treatment. If you are ready and eager to start treatment right away, we can proceed immediately following the initial exam by gathering some diagnostic records. These records will typically consist of two digital x-rays, impressions to fabricate models of the mouth, and digital photographs of both the face and teeth.
We provide a complimentary initial examination for all new patients. Please feel free to Contact Us at any time to schedule your complimentary evaluation.
